Purple Loosestrife (
Lythrum Salicaria: LYTUACEAE) P
ure Herbs Liquid Extract used Historically for Eyes, secretory glands and organs, nervous system.

Common Names:
Loosestrife, Spiked Loosestrife, Sage Willow, Purple Willow Herb.

Parts Used: Herb.

Bodily Influences: Loosestrife is a member of the mint family, long esteemed in strengthening the muscular fibers and for the correction of eyesight. For conditions of clouded vision or restoration of eyesight, prepare an eye wash of 20 drops to 1/2 cup of distilled water and bathe the eyes with an eyecup 2-3 times per day for 5 minutes at a time.

Although Loosestrife exerts astringent properties on the mucous membranes, its action is not drying which makes it a valuable tonic for a weakened, over-extended colon and intestine. Purple Loosestrife Pure Herbs Liquid Extract is especially useful to the troubled gall bladder, liver and kidneys to function as a tonic and a nutrient to restore them to a strong and healthy condition.

Note:  Chemical companies want you to buy poison and kill Purple Loosestrife as a terrible weed endangering crops. It was pointed out that it only grows near water and can't endanger field crops. Then they said it crowds out aquatic plants, which also support water fowl. The fact is it grows there until the damage done by man can be corrected and then the other naturally occurring plants can return.

Recommended Dosage: 20 to 40 drops per 1/2 cup water as a douche for vaginal infection. 40 drops three times per day for all other uses.

Possible Directions on label: For adults, mix 2 ml of extract in 2 oz (60 ml) of water one time daily preferably with a meal.
