Cante Wowicakhe as an independant branch of the Oklevueha Native American Church has the same rights and protections provided the ONAC .



Oklevueha Native American Church presently is the ONLY:
 

1. Native American Church authorized to conduct Indigenous American Native ceremonies within the United States Navy
2. Native American Church validated by a unanimous decision of the State of Utah Supreme Court to admit people of any racial make up around its sacred fires.
3. Native American Church that has received State of Utah Governor Accommodation Awards for introducing and managing a successful American Native based Habilitation Program in the State of Utah Department of Corrections.
4. Native American Church that has entered into a Cultural Exchange Proclamation with the Huichole Nation, witnessed by the Mexican Consulate.
5. Native American Church that has received a ruling in the Hawaiian Federal Court whereupon the United States Government committed (due to ripeness) not to confiscate ‘Cannabis’ Sacrament from the United States Mails and/or arrest any member of Oklevueha Native American Church of Hawaii for transporting or utilizing cannabis as their Sacrament. The Court also gave permission for ONAC of Hawaii to Sue the DEA.

The Unique Legal Status of Oklevueha Native American Church is substantiated by the following United States Government Agencies opinion and statues:

• First by the “United States Attorney General Office Memorandum" – “Our research has identified no religious organizations, other than the NAC, which would qualify for the exemption under these or similar procedural and substantive requirements” and SECOND by the DEA Code of Regulations – Exemptions from federal and state Drug Laws.
• ONAC of Cante Wowicakhe Membership Card Holders are warranted United States Constitutional Rights and Protections as the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights clearly states and as the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons act of 2000 in detail outlines these rights and protections even if one is NOT of American Native Heritage, See United States v. Boyll, May 10, 1990 – Federal Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals Unanimous Ruling and State of Utah Supreme Court Unanimous Ruling. 
• Government Agencies have no legal authority to legislate what Earth Based Substance; plant, cacti, vine and/or herb that a ONAC of Cante Wowicake church member chooses to utilize as their Sacrament.  See United States Supreme Court Unanimous Ruling.
